About Us

The Red Knights International Motorcycle Club was formed in 1983 by firefighters Colin Mackey, Bob Bourassa, Ed Wright, Roger Wentzell, Dave Hamilton, Bob Goulet, David Hunt, Jon Tripp, Don Parker, Norm Beausoleil, and Chief Jack Pierce in Boylston, Massachusetts.  Started as an organization of Fire Service members and their families who ride motorcycles.

Red Knights Motorcycle Club promotes motorcycle safety, projecting a positive image of motorcycles and enjoying the fraternity of Firefighters.  Our membership consists of Career, Paid, Volunteer, Industrial, Military & Retired members of the Fire Service.

We encourage participation by your spouse, girlfriend/boyfriend, and any family member.  They can join as a Social Member.

Today, there are over 400 Chapters of Red Knights with well over 10,000 members strong throughout the world.

Red Knights New York Chapter XXV is the local chapter covering both the North and South Forks as well as Shelter Island on the East End of Long Island.   New York Chapter XXV was Chartered in April of 2005 with Red Knights International Motorcycle Club.  As of January 2024, NY XXV membership has 90 members which consists of 6 Charter members, 60 Active Members, 15 Social Members, 4 Associate Members, 4 Junior Members and 1 Honorary Member.

Our area includes the fire department communities of: Amagansett, Bridgehampton, East Hampton, Eastport, East Moriches, East Quogue, Flanders, Hampton Bays, Montauk, North Sea, Quogue, Sag Harbor, Southampton, Springs & Westhampton Beach on the South Fork and Cutchogue, East Marion, Greenport, Jamesport, Mattituck, Orient, Riverhead, Shelter Island, Southold & Wading River on the North Fork.
