Long Island MacArthur 5K Run for Veterans.

posted Apr 22, 2011, 5:48 AM by Eric Plum
We have been asked to provide road guard/parking assistance again this year for the Long Island MacArthur 5K Run for Veterans. The run started last year and had over 1,000 participants. This year is shaping up to be much bigger than last. The money raised goes to 9-1-1 Veterans Association who's founder, SCPD Range Officer and 33 year retired Veteran of the Navy, Steve Clark passed away recently after a long hard battle with cancer.

The run will take place at MacArthur Airport on June 4th, 2011. We will need maximum participation if this is going to be a success. Last year several of you came out and did a terrific job. So much so that we have been asked again this year to help. Anticipating a much larger turn out more help will be needed.

First, I would like to ask if we can participate in this event again.
Secondly, if we do, who thinks they can attend?

Thank you for your consideration.
